Yesterday we saw three Bullfinches feeding on oregano seeds in our garden, and again today, a single one. Our photos did not come out well, so here is an image of this striking bird by Daniil Komov.

Hazel Catkins and Planting Narcissuses - 22 January 2022
One of five Hazel (Corylus avellana) trees in our garden, currently covered with catkins...
And one of seven Narcissus bulbs planted in the lawn next to one of the Hazel trees today. The variety is White Marvel.
